The Pediatric Residency Program at NYC Health + Hospitals/ Kings County is dedicated to educating and training future pediatricians who are equipped with a robust foundation in pediatric medicine, critical thinking, scholarly activity, teaching, and quality improvement. Located in Central Brooklyn, a medically underserved and ethnically diverse neighborhood, our program emphasizes social inequities and advocacy, ensuring that our residents are prepared to provide high quality, evidence-based care while addressing the social determinants of health. Aligned with the mission of NYC Health + Hospitals/ Kings County, we strive to deliver exceptional health care to all individuals. Our residency program offers robust opportunities for residents to build a strong foundation in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical leadership, and the delivery of culturally competent care. Through interdisciplinary collaboration and individualized curricula, residents engage in initiatives that address the social determinants of health at all levels of the healthcare system. Our faculty are deeply committed to the patients and families we serve, as well as to the mission of our training program and sponsoring institution.
