Jefferson Health – Northeast Family Medicine is a three-year community based residency program with university affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Jefferson Health is accredited by the ACGME. Residents complete the ABFM (American Board of Family Medicine) in-training examination as well as the opportunity to complete the AOBFP (American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians) in-service examination during residency years. Upon successful completion of the Family Medicine residency program, graduates are board eligible and can choose to sit for either or potentially both ABFM and AOBFP board certification examinations.
